Fileset Names:
- bos.net.ipsec.rte — IP Security modules containing kernel extensions, filter rules, IBM and manual tunnels. These modules use encryption functions, such as DES, 3DES, and authentication algorithms such as MD5 and SHA.
- bos.net.ipsec.keymgt — Internet Key Exchange (IKE) modules. IKE tunnels use the ISAKMP protocol for key negotiation. This module installs and initializes the necessary databases and daemons for key negotiation (isakmpd) and managing IKE tunnels (tmd). It also installs the 'ike' command, which is the command line interface to managing IKE tunnels.
- bos.net.ipsec.websm — GUI modules for IP Security. Uses the standard AIX WebSM framework to implement the GUI. Features of IP Security can be accessed and configured from the GUI.

Image and Fileset Names:
- bos.crypto-priv — Contains 128 bit cryptography (triple DES) support for IP Security. This package has the highest security. It contains triple DES encryption. This package is available on the US/Canada version of the AIX Bonus Pack. In AIX 5.2 this package contains DES and 3DES. Also contains 56 bit cryptography (DES) support for IP Security. This package is available worldwide.
- gskit.rte — Contains the IBM Certificate Manager Version 4. This package is required for managing Digital Certificates. The user can load root Certificate Authority (CA) and personal certificates. Also the package can generate requests for certificates.
- gskkm.rte — Contains version 6 of the IBM Certificate Manager.
