IBM AIX Solution Editions

Power 710 and 720 Express eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this offering:

• The server must be ordered with a Solution Edition feature code
• The server must be a new purchase, not an MES upgrade
• The offering must include new and/or upgrade software licenses and/or software maintenance from the ISV for the qualifying IBM server. Services and/or training for the qualifying server can also be provided. Contact the individual ISV for details.
• Proof of purchase (for example: a copy of the invoice) of the solution with a participating ISV must be provided to IBM on request. The proof must be dated within 90 days before or after the date of order of the qualifying server.
• The combined value (software, maintenance, services and training) of the ISV purchase must be US $6,500 or greater. Contact the individual ISV for details.
• If purchasing the AIX Solution Edition for IBM Cognos Business Intelligence via feature code #EU24 or #EU25, the minimum purchase requirement will be met.
• The server and the selected solution must be registered with IBM using the registration form.

Power 730 and 740 Express eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this offering:

IBM Flex System p260 and p460 compute nodes eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this offering:

• The compute node must be ordered with a Solution Edition feature code
• The compute node must be a new purchase, not an MES upgrade
• The offering must include new and/or upgrade software licenses and/or software maintenance from the ISV for the qualifying IBM server. Services and/or training for the qualifying server can also be provided. Contact the individual ISV for details.
• Proof of purchase (for example: a copy of the invoice) of the solution with a participating ISV must be provided to IBM on request. The proof must be dated within 90 days before or after the date of order of the qualifying compute node.
• The combined value (software, maintenance, services and training) of the ISV purchase must be US $40,000 or greater.
• The compute node and the selected solution must be registered with IBM using the registration form.
