The I/O subsystem will support 32-bit and 64-bit standard PCI adapters. The S70 Advanced delivers a cost-efficient growth path to the future through these attributes: 64-bit system scaleability; 4-way, 8-way, or 12-way--packaged on 3 processor cards (4 RS64 II processors per card); 262 MHz system processors; and 8 MB of L2 ECC cache for each 262 MHz processor.
