Highlights
The IBM 7026 RS/6000 Model H80 is a member of the 64-bit family of symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) enterprise servers from IBM. A follow-on to the popular Model H70, the H80 provides the power, capacity, and expandability required for e-business, mission-critical computing. The H80 can assist you in managing the evolution of your business to incorporate the power of the Web and 64-bit applications into your computing environment while still supporting existing 32-bit applications. The H80 is a cost-efficient growth path to the future. It provides 64-bit scalability via the 64-bit RS64 III processor packaged in 1-, 2-, 4-, and 6-way processor configurations and incorporates an I/O subsystem supporting 32-bit and 64-bit standard PCI adapters. The H80 has 1-, 2-, and 4-way processors that operate at 450 MHz while the 6-way processor operates at 500 MHz. The 1-way processor provides 2 MB of L2 cache with the 2-, 4-, and 6-way processors incorporating 4 MB of L2 cache per processor.
