IBM Power System S822LC for high performance computing

The IBM Power System S822LC is built on industry standards and incorporates innovation from the OpenPOWER Foundation ecosystem: including up to 2 NVIDIA® Tesla® GPU Accelerators and Mellanox® InfiniBand. The Power S822LC delivers faster time to insight by pairing the built-for-big-data architecture of POWER8 and accelerator performance. Also available without GPU accelerators as IBM Power System S822LC for commercial computing.

The IBM Power System S812L and S822L are scalable single and dual-socket 2U server solutions that may be deployed as high performance computing single-nodes or clusters. With the IBM POWER8™ processor featuring up to 12-cores, 8-threads per core, and 192GB/sec of memory bandwidth, they are tuned for maximum performance, seamless scalability, and reliability.

IBM Power System S824L (with NVIDIA technology)

IBM Power System S824L is the first server to leverage OpenPOWER Foundation technology to accelerate HPC and technical computing applications. It allows users to pair all the advantages of POWER8 with NVIDIA® GPUs and offload parallel operations to up to 2 NVIDIA Tesla® GPU Accelerators.
