The IBM Corporation offers an Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) support product for the IBM System p and IBM RISC System/6000 platforms running the AIX operating system. Called Open Systems Standard Communication (OSSC), it offers a suite of OSI networking applications that is available today to meet the requirements of open systems. This application suite consists of a broad array of OSI compliant capabilities that have been fully integrated with AIX. The components of this suite deliver capabilities including basic connectivity, application level interoperability, and OSI migration.
