Evaluates online transaction processing using simulated order-entry and distribution environment applications.

A 2-core IBM System p5 520 (1.65 GHz, 1 chip, 4 threads) running Linux is the best 2-core system (81,439 tpmC, $2.99/tpmC, configuration available 12/22/06).
A 4-core IBM Power 570 (4.7 GHz, 2 chips, 8 threads) is the best 4-core system (404,462 tpmC, $3.50/tpmC, configuration available 11/26/07).
A 4-core IBM System p5 570 (2.2 GHz, 4 chips, 8 threads) is the best 4-core Linux system (236,271 tpmC, $2.56/tpmC, configuration available 04/04/08).
An 8-core IBM Power 550 (4.2 GHz, 4 chips, 16 threads) is the best 8-core system (629,159 tpmC, $2.49/tpmC, configuration available 04/20/08).
A 16-core IBM Power 570 (4.7 GHz, 8 chips, 32 threads) with IBM DB2® Enterprise 9 is the best 16-core system (1,616,162 tpmC, $3.54/tpmC, configuration available 11/21/07) and tops all 32-core systems.
A 32-core IBM eServer p5 595 (1.9 GHz) with Oracle 10g database is the best 32-core (1,601,784 tpmC, $5.05/tpmC, configuration available 04/20/05).
A 64-core IBM System p5 595 (2.3 GHz, 32 chips, 128 threads) with IBM DB2 9 is the best 64-core system (4,033,378 tpmC, $2.97/tpmC, configuration available 01/22/07).
