10Gb Ethernet Transceivers
The adoption of 10Gb Ethernet is growing rapidly. For the majority of cabling runs up to 8.5 meters, clients can use Direct Attach Cable (DAC), especially when connecting servers within the same rack between closely located racks. For longer distances, use short or long range transceivers and optical cables.

40Gb Ethernet Transceivers
While 40Gb Ethernet is an emerging technology, there are many options. To increase the number of available 10Gb ports, use QSFP+ DAC Break Out Cables to split out each 40Gb port and connect up to four 10Gb SFP+ external ports.
