IBM Systems Director Network Control will manage, monitor, and configure vendor based network devices, leveraging existing IBM Systems Director functionality and integration of vendor applications. IBM Systems Director Network Control V1.1 supports the following network devices:
- IBM BladeCenter supported switches and Blade NICs

IBM formally announced IBM Systems Director Network Control 1.1 on October 20, 2009 and it will be made Generally Available via download or with new server orders in the fourth quarter of 2009.
