Remote Deployment Manager (RDM) will no longer be available as Director has transitioned to new deployment product from Tivoli.

Migrating from RDM to TPMfOSD ISDE V7.1

Please click on the link below to download the migration guide which provides support and information for Remote Deployment Manager (RDM) 4.40.1 users that are migrating to Tivoli Provisioning Manager for OS Deployment ISDE.(TPMfOSD ISDE) 7.1.

It gives step by step procedures to build from scratch new deployment systems with TPM for OSD 7.1 and to migrate legacy RDM 4.40.1 data.

It covers both IBM Systems Director Edition (TPM for OSD - ISDE 7.1) that integrates with Director 6.1 and the standalone version (TPM for OSD 7.1).

RDM 4.40.1 concepts, terms and use cases are mapped against TPM for OSD 7.1 ones in order to facilitate and speed up the replacement of RDM 4.40.1 environments. The main aim is to facilitate migration for RDM 4.40.1 users.
