BladeCenter OS Support Information

For Supported Server Operating Systems listed above, the following pages contain information on each version of the operating system that has been tested by IBM with that particular system, will run on that system, and is considered a "ServerProven" environment for which IBM support personnel will provide support in accordance with applicable warranty information accompanying the system. Unless it is otherwise specified, updates or service packs equal to or higher within the same OS release family and version of the operating system are also supported. However, support for newer major releases or versions are not supported unless specifically identified on the following pages.

Additional OS Information


For customers interested in deploying operating systems listed under Additional OS Information, IBM will provide customers with server hardware only warranty support. For operating system and software support, customers will need to contact the operating system vendor or community. Customers will need to obtain the operating system and OS software support directly from the operating system vendor or community.
