Designed for versatility
The IBM BladeCenter HS22 offers flexible options to support a broad range of workloads, including virtualisation and enterprise applications. Along with intuitive Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) based tools, the HS22 can be customised and deployed quickly while best-in-class reliability features help keep you up and running. Mix and match the HS22 with the industry’s most diverse set of chassis and blades and that go beyond x86.
Built for performance
The HS22 provides outstanding performance with support for the latest Intel® Xeon® processors, high-speed input/output (I/O) and support for high memory capacity and fast memory throughput. The HS22 can run applications up to twice as fast compared to previous generation blades. In fact, you can run many applications faster than even some competitor four-socket blades.

When you want to move from racks to blades, to take your computing to a much higher level, take a good look at IBM’s next generation BladeCenter HS22.
Your numerous, old and power-hungry rack mount servers may be draining your maintenance and operating budget. Replace them with fewer, state-of-the-art IBM BladeCenter HS22 servers.
They give you the power of 11:1 server consolidation, an incredible 90% less energy consumption1, and 95% reduction in the floor space needed.
If you already have the blade server chassis, you can save substantially on upgrading to the next level of high performance.
1 Return on investment and power savings calculation based on 11:1 consolidation ratio scenario of 166 Intel® 1U 2 socket servers to 14 BladeCenter HS22 servers and savings in energy costs, software license fees and other operating costs. Actual costs and savings will vary depending on individual customer configurations and environment. For more information, visit ibm.com/systems/in/bladecenter/hardware/servers/hs22/index.html.
