Overview Offerings

Because Lotus Domino for iSeries is a critical middleware product, we offer many services to fit your needs.

Lotus Notes & Domino for iSeries Services

Planning to use Lotus Domino on the iSeries
If you are new to Lotus Domino, we will assist you with a planning session to help you understand the Domino functionality's and build the right implementation path for your organization. Furthermore, if you have been using Domino on iSeries and planning to increase the workload or achieve higher availability, our consultants will help you evaluate and implement the right options like multiple Domino partitions and clustering.

Application Design and Integration
Many organizations start with using Domino as an email platform and gradually build Domino applications using Lotus Script, XML or Java. We can provide you with assistance to implement best practices in designing and writing Domino design elements (forms, views and agents). We can also help you integrate your Domino applications with your DB2 UDB data on the iSeries using technologies like DECS, LEI, Lotus Connector and JDBC.
For more sophisticated web applications using Servlets, JSPs or the Enterprise Java Beans, we will help you setup your Domino server to work with the IBM WebSphere Application Server.

iNotes Web Access Implementation
For the first time, you can give Web browser users access to e-mail, calendar, group scheduling, personal contacts and much more using the new iNotes Web Access.
Our consultants will help you determine if your Domino on iSeries is ready to implement this exciting new feature. We will assist you in the smooth transition from Notes Client to iNotes Web Access. We will also help you integrate your iNotes Web Access with Lotus Sametime and QuickPlace for real-time chat and collaboration over the Web.

Infrastructure Review
Prior to launching your applications for the Notes clients or to the Web, our consultants will review that your Domino environment, such as the system’s performance parameters, server document, database ACL and connection to your corporate LDAP server are configured properly.

Server Consolidation
If you are currently running Domino on an array of servers, you might want to consolidate them to run on the iSeries for easier maintenance and to reduce cost. We will perform an assessment on your existing environment, calculate the size of your iSeries machine, and develop the consolidation and migration strategy.
