IBM Technology for Java (IT4J) optimized for SAP is now available for IBM i V6.1. This new Java technology provides many benefits over existing Classic technology including: improved performance, reduced memory footprint, and increase throughput. The SAP on IBM i team specializes in services surrounding the layer between the SAP application and the IBM i operating system and DB2 for IBM i. The team provides architectural advice and perspective to help maximize the efficiency of your solution. They provide installation and general administration help to supplement your existing infrastructure team, and also specialize in deeper technical topics such as high availability, single sign-on and security, and performance analysis and tuning. At any stage of the SAP on IBM i lifecycle, the SAP on IBM i Lab Services team has the skills to make your project more successful. And being directly connected to the IBM and SAP development labs, they bring with them a vast network of expertise unique to IBM.

IBM SAP International Competence Center (ISICC)

The ISICC was founded in 1993 and is jointly staffed by both IBM and SAP employees. Located at SAP headquarters in Walldorf, Germany, the ISICC is the central point of access for IBM and SAP projects and is the heart and home of the IBM SAP Alliance. The ISICC provides SAP on IBM i specific services such as solution design, hardware sizings, proof of concepts, and education.
