The BRMS Graphical User Interface requires the following software:

• IBM Backup Recovery and Media Services for iSeries V5R1 or later.
• IBM Operating System/400
  Option 18 - Media and Storage Extensions V5R1 or later.
• IBM Client Access Express for iSeries V5R1 or later.

In addition:

• Backup Recovery and Media Services for iSeries V5R1 is not required on the iSeries Navigator Central System if you do not intend to perform BRMS operations to that system. This does not prevent scheduling of BRMS operations to other Connections through the Central System.
