Backup Recovery and Media Services

The BRMS graphical user interface (GUI) is new function introduced with the product at Version 5 Release 1 and significantly enhanced in releases 2 and 3.

This graphical user interface, also referred to as the BRMS IBM i Navigator client (BRMS client), is an optional plug-in that integrates many of the BRMS backup, recovery and media management functions into the IBM i Navigator hierarchy. After you install the BRMS client on your workstation, you can manage BRMS operations, across several systems, from a single Windows(R) desktop.
