Air Transportation
Rochester, Minnesota is served by Northwest Airlines (through Minneapolis)and American Airlines (through Chicago). Rochester is about a 15-minute drive north from the Rochester Airport and about a 90-minute drive south from the Minneapolis International Airport via Interstate 494 & US Highway 52.
Ground Transportation
Normally, you will find it most convenient to rent a car at the Rochester Airport. Most major car rental agencies are available there. These agencies can give you directions to your lodging.

Driving directions to the Power Systems (i) Benchmark Center (building 20-3) from the Rochester Airport:
Leaving the airport, turn right at the stop sign and drive .5 miles to US 63. Take US 63 North to the intersection of US 63 and US 52 approximately 3 miles. Take US 52 North exit to the Twin Cities. Travel approximately 8 miles and take the 37th St./41st St. NW Exit. At the top of exit ramp is 37th street (you will notice Arby's restaurant on the right), turn left which will bring you into the IBM Main Site complex. You will know you have the right location if you see lots of large blue buildings. As you travel into the complex, you will pass an unmanned gate. Continue until you see a sign for the main lobby. At the sign, turn left. This road takes you to the main lobby. Just before you get to the circle where the IBM Main Lobby is, you will turn left. As you continue driving, you will pass two blue buildings on your right (Building 003 and Building 006). As you proceed to the next building (between Building 006 and Building 025), you will see a sign that says "Contractor Entrance" - which is the building you will be entering. Park in the designated 'Benchmark Center' parking area (colored flags) in the 025 parking lot. Go to the "Contractor Entrance" which is also the Security office. Tell them you are here to pick up a 24x7 tenant badge for your customer benchmark. If there is a long line, just proceed to the front of the line and let them know that you are a customer that is here to pick up a badge for your benchmark engagement. Plan to meet your Benchmark Analyst at IBM Security and they will escort you to the Benchmark Center.

Leaving the airport, follow the signs to I494 East. Travel East about 7 miles to the Dodd Road (Hwy 149) exit. Turn left at the traffic light on Dodd Road and travel .6 miles to the intersection of US 55. Turn left on US 55 and travel South. US 52 joins US 55. Continue on US 52 South/East to Rochester, about 75 miles. The route is well marked with signs. The IBM plant site is at the northwest edge of Rochester on US 52 at the 41st St. NW Exit. Take the 41st St. NW Exit and at the stop light (A fuel station called, Kwik Trip, should be on your right) proceed straight ahead to 37th street. At 37th street, turn right, which will bring you into the IBM Main Site complex. You will know you have the right location if you see lots of large blue buildings.
