WebSphere Application Server Version 6.1 for i5/OS is now available. To find out more PTF information about the new version — or any other of the supported versions, please look at the WebSphere PTF information section. PTF information is provided for all editions by OS/400 Release.
The WebSphere Application Server: Support Web site provides individual fixes for critical problems that are not part of the WebSphere Group PTF. Prior to Version 6 of the products, these fixes cannot be installed on your iSeries. If you have a critical requirement for a fix, then please contact IBM Service.
For Version 6 and higher, if the interim fix information shows OS/400 in the list of platforms, you can safely install the interim fix using the update installer. The download page for the interim fix will contain information on how to install using the update installer. If the interim fix does not show OS/400 in the list of platforms, contact IBM Service.
