WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment V6.0 for iSeries is currently supported on i5/OS V5R4 and IBM i V6R1.

Product Features:

IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment V6.0 for OS/400 includes the same support as IBM WebSphere Application Server V6.0 for OS/400 and a Network Deployment Manager, which allows you to manage multiple WebSphere Application Server nodes from a single administrative console. The following additional features are also included:

  • Provides advanced Web services features, including:
    • Web Services Gateway enables Web services invocation by users from outside the firewall with the benefit of robust security protection.

  • Offers enhanced workload management and dynamic caching and performance management tools that distributed workload across multiple servers through sophisticated load balancing and clustering capabilities.
  • Enables isolation of application servers to avoid single points of failure.
  • Provides first failure data capture to report and analyze problems as they occur.
