This product is only available via Passport Advantage. It is not available as shrinkwrap. It is ordered as PID 5630-A36, but installs as PID 5733W51 on the iSeries system.

As a result of rebranding, WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment, V5.0 and V5.1 are the follow-on products to WebSphere Application Server, Advanced Edition V4.0 (5630-A23,5733WA4).

WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment, V5.1 has one charge unit: processors. It is available in units of one. A license is required for every processor on each server.

The price of WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment , V5.1 is based on the number of processors in the system executing all or any part of the Network Deployment configuration of the WebSphere Application Server, V5.1 product. Refer to the product license for additional details on the charge structure.

For example, two 4-way symmetric multiprocessor systems require eight WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment, V5.1 processor licenses.

On September 12, 2003, IBM announced software terms and conditions to complement the eServer ® On/Off Capacity on Demand (CoD) offering. These new software terms and conditions enable customers to pay for select software products on a daily basis when they activate the On/Off CoD hardware offering for zSeries, pSeries, or iSeries. For more information, refer to Software Announcement 203-202 , dated September 12, 2003.
