WebSphere Application Server - Express for iSeries, Version 5.0 is shipped in one package that contains the following
- Instructions on registering the product for software maintenance
- IBM WebSphere Application Server - Express, V5
Windows only Media (restricted to use with WebSphere Application Server - Express)
- IBM WebSphere Development Studio Client for iSeries V4.0
- DB2 Connect Personal Edition, V7.2 FP5 or the Windows Operating Environments
- DB2 Universal Database Personal Edition, V7.2 FP5 for the Windows Operating Environments
This program when downloaded from a Web site contains the applicable IBM license agreement and License Information (LI), if appropriate, and will be presented for acceptance at the time of installation of the program. The license and LI will be stored in a directory for future reference.

This LPP may be ordered through:

- Scroll to the bottom of the page to purchase. WebSphere Application Server - Express V5.0 for iSeries.
- For Build to Order, WebSphere Application Server - Express for i5/OS can only be ordered as part of the Enterprise Package for iSeries models 800, 810, 825, 870, and 890.
- Standalone orders must be made via Passport Advantage including additional licenses.

- In Canada, orders may be placed by calling IBM.COM, Americas at 1-800-IBM-CALL (1-800-426-2255).
Note: V5.0 of the LPP will be shipped when ordered. You must also order the WebSphere Application Server - Express for i5/OS, Version 5.0 Group PTF for your OS/400 release. This Group PTF must be installed immediately after installing the product.
Supplemental information:
- Customers with active IBM Software Subscription for iSeries contracts and a license for IBM WebSphere Application Server Standard Edition for iSeries V3.02 or V3.5 that was acquired before January 24, 2003 will be entitled to an equal number of licenses for WebSphere Application Server - Express for i5/OS. To receive maintenance for Express entitlements customers must order Maintenance renewal for Express entitlement. Customers requiring additional copies of Express will need to purchase those licenses via your IBM Representative or IBM.com.
- WebSphere Application Server - Express for i5/OS is a standalone product with three charge units - processors, users or developers. Processors and Developers are available in units of one. Users are available in quantities of 20.
Availability:
WebSphere Application Server - Express for iSeries is available February 21, 2003 for V5R1 and V5R2.
