What is a Service Pack?
A Service Pack is simply a collection of code fixes for the IBM Toolbox for Java. Instead of creating a PTF for each problem, fixes are grouped in service pack PTFs that contain fixes for several APARs. Service Pack PTFs are released about every six months.
Each service pack contains all the IBM Toolbox for Java classes in a new zip and jar file. Since the entire zip and jar file are included in every PTF, each PTF supersedes the previous PTF. If you get the latest PTF, you get all fixes to the Toolbox classes up through that PTF.
What Service Packs are currently available?
The table below shows information for the latest Service Pack. All Service Pack PTF should be ordered through ECS.
