What's New in Sametime 7.5.1?
Here are some of the new functions and features for Sametime Connect 7.5.1 in addition to those available for Sametime 7.5:
- Support for Macintosh clients
- Desktop Single Sign On and silent install for Windows clients
- Microsoft® Office Integration support
- Ability to designate Primary Buddies in your buddy list, improved "Add Contact" dialog, one-on-one video chat
- Chat History enhancements: support for recording history of N-way chats, chat history text search
- Improved chat management, using tabbed chats
- Additional policies for better administrator control over client features
- Partial name search for users and public groups.
Enhancements for Web Conferencing include:
- Support for Macintosh clients
- Quicker meeting startup
- Improved control of group chat for meetings
- Fully resizable sections in the meeting room and edge-to-edge maximization
- More efficient presenter transitioning
- Additional right-click menu options
- Additional APIs, SPIs, and extension points to support video integration with Sametime Connect

What's New in Sametime 7.5?
Sametime 7.5's Instant Messaging is totally revamped with many new features that make it easier and better than ever. This includes:

- Location awareness, quick find
- Partner's business card, location, phone & local time
- IBM Lotus Notes links
- Send instant, croppable screenshots

Sametime 7.5's Web Conferencing provides a new, clearer user interface. New and enhanced features include:
- Simplified meeting creation and management
- New Slides tab enables easier management of presentation files
- Improved slide conversion and scaling
- "Auto-reconnect" feature minimizes disruption in case of a network interruption or disconnect.
Additional updates available:
- Cumulative Fix 1 (CF1) recommended for all Sametime 7.5 installations.
- Sametime Gateway for communicating with external instant messaging communities.
- Mobile client support offers presence awareness, location awareness, instant messaging, and voice chats from any supported mobile device.
