Hardware requirements
All of the values listed below should be used only as general guidelines. Use the IBM Systems Workload Estimator to determine the system configuration required for your specific environment.
- 2 GB memory or more for each Lotus Quickr, QuickPlace or Domino server
- 2 GB or more free disk space is recommended for each Lotus Quickr server with a minimum of 4 disk drives
Software requirements
Ensure that you are using a Domino release and a supported IBM i release compatible with your release of Lotus Quickr or QuickPlace.

In addition, install the following:
- IBM i Host Servers, option 12 of 5722SS1 (V5) or 5761SS1 (V6)
- IBM i Qshell Interpreter, option 30 of 5722SS1 (V5) or 5761SS1 (V6)
- TCP/IP Connectivity Utilities, 5722TC1 (V5) or 5761TC1 (V6)
- IBM Developer Kit for Java, 5722JV1 (V5) or 5761JV1 (V6). Install *BASE plus following:
- Lotus Quickr 8.2 or 8.1: option 7, JDK 5.0
- Lotus Quickr 8.0 or QuickPlace 7.0: option 6, JDK 1.4
- Team Workplace 6.5.1: option 5, JDK 1.3
