• Register to gain access to Zend support for Zend Core.
• Register and download Zend Studio for IBM i, Zend’s advanced development environment for PHP applications.

So what is PHP?
PHP stands for PHP Hypertext Preprocessor. PHP is an open source scripting language that is designed for Web application development and enables very simple scripting. PHP is widely used for content management, customer relationship management, database access, ecommerce, forums, blogs, wikis, and other Web-based applications.

Zend is "The PHP Company". They provide products, support, education, and services for PHP application development and deployment.

• Zend Core for IBM i provides a PHP run time environment. It includes a toolkit that enables easy access to IBM i applications and data.
• Zend Studio for IBM i is an Eclipse-based development tool for PHP applications.
• Zend Platform for IBM i features capabilities to improve performance, scalability, and monitoring on PHP applications. It includes the 5250 and Java bridges.

Many PHP applications are written to the open source MySQL database. MySQL is available for IBM i enabling these PHP applications to run on IBM i.
