Description:
Error x formatting page headers of incoming TIFF file. Original TIFF file of format conversion request y will be used.
Cause:
An error occurred while the Windows Fax Conversion Service (which runs on the Fax Windows Services System) attempted to remove extraneous data from an incoming TIFF fax file. This data needs to be removed so that the incoming fax can be viewed correctly. The fax file is delivered as is, and you may or may not be able to view it successfully.
Recovery:
No recovery is necessary. Both the Windows Fax Conversion Service on the Fax Windows Services System and the Fax server continue to run. If you are unable to view the fax successfully, ask the sender to send it again. Fax will attempt to convert it correctly. If this problem continues to occur, there may be a problem with either the sending fax machine or the Domino Fax for i5/OS product. Report the problem.
