Description:
Format conversion thread
x ended because an error occurred.
Cause:
An error occurred which caused a Fax server thread to end.
Recovery:
Look at the previously listed messages in the Fax Log database (NFXLOG.NSF) to determine the exact cause of the error. Correct the problem. By default, the Fax server starts 2 threads on the Domino server for handling conversions but this can be modified. If all of the threads have ended, no faxes can be processed until you
stop and then
start Fax. If some of the threads have ended but some are still active, you may experience slower fax throughput and should
stop and then
start Fax at your earliest convenience.
To increase the number of Fax server conversion threads that are started each time the Fax server is started, modify the value of the
$FAXCONVERTTHREADS variable in the notes.ini file. Valid values are 1 through 10. The change will take effect the next time you start the Fax server.
