Domino Fax Log Messages: Error Code 11411
Code Description, Cause & Recovery
11411 Description:
Windows Fax Conversion Service version a.b does not match iSeries Fax version c.d. The two are not compatible.

Cause:
The level of the Fax code running on the Domino server does not match the level of the Fax software running on the Fax Windows Services System. At least one portion of the code was updated but there are corresponding changes that were not applied to the other portion of the code. Both need to be updated with the same version. The Fax code running on the Domino server is no longer compatible with the Fax code running on the Fax Windows Services System.

Recovery:
Certain upgrades to the Domino Fax for i5/OS product may require simultaneous upgrades to both portions of the product, i.e., the Fax code running on the Domino server and the code running on the Fax Windows Services System.

  • If you have recently upgraded Domino Fax for i5/OS to a new version, make sure that you have upgraded both portions of the product to the same version.
  • If you have recently applied fixes to one portion of the product, there are fixes that must also be applied to the other portion. Check the Domino Fax for i5/OS web site for more information about available fixes. Once you have found the fixes that you are missing, download them and then apply them according to the instructions supplied with the fixes.

Note: The Fax code running on the Domino server and the code running on the Fax Windows Services System must be at the same version level. If you want to use different versions of Domino Fax for i5/OS in your network, you will need additional Fax Windows Services Systems. You must have at least one Fax Windows Services System for each different version of Domino Fax for i5/OS. Make sure that you correctly configure your Fax servers so that each one communicates with the correct, corresponding Fax Windows Services System, i.e., the Fax Windows Services System which is running the same version of code as the Fax server running on the iSeries server.
