Description:
Windows Fax Conversion Service thread conversion exception
x occurred.
Cause:
The Windows Fax Conversion Service running on the Fax Windows Services System encountered an exception while it was attempting to convert a fax. The Windows Fax Conversion Service continues to run even though a particular thread ended. The Fax thread on the Domino server that is communicating with this particular Windows Fax Conversion Service thread is also ended. The value of exception code

Recovery:
A Windows Fax for Domino Conversion Service thread and a Fax server thread have been ended. If there is another Fax server thread still running, you can still handle faxes although performance will be degraded. If this was the last thread available to convert faxes, no more incoming or outgoing faxes can be handled by this particular Fax server. To improve performance (in the case where there are still active threads) or to restart all the threads for this Fax server,
stop and
start Fax from the Administrator Workstation for your Domino server.
If the problem continues,
restart the entire network of Fax servers that use this Fax Windows Services System for fax conversions. Be sure to reboot your Fax Windows Services System when the instructions indicate to do so.
If the problem still continues, do the following:
- From the Administrator Workstation for each of your Domino servers,
stop Fax on
ALL Domino servers that use this particular Fax Windows Services System for fax conversions.
- Once all of the Fax servers have ended, go to the Fax Windows Services System and complete the following steps:
- Start Fax on the Domino server that is causing this problem.
- Report the problem and provide the
C:\QFXDrouter.log file.
