Cause:
An error occurred when the Windows Fax Conversion Service attempted to parse data sent to it by the Fax code running on the Domino server. This data is necessary for the Windows Fax Conversion Service to successfully recognize and handle this particular fax conversion request. The value of error code

The Windows Fax Conversion Service cannot receive all of the incoming fax file from the Fax server that is handling this fax. The incoming fax file cannot be converted. Communications may have been ended between the Fax server and the Fax Windows Services System, or another internal error may have occurred. Fax will attempt to deliver the fax as is.

The Windows Fax Conversion Service has received the first part of the incoming fax file from the Fax server that is handling this fax. However, the Windows Fax Conversion Service cannot create and open a temporary file on the Fax Windows Services System. Since the file cannot be created, the incoming fax file cannot be converted. Fax will attempt to deliver it as is.

The Windows Fax Conversion Service has received part of the incoming fax file from the Fax server that is handling this fax. However, the Windows Fax Conversion Service is not able to write this portion to a temporary file on the Fax Windows Services System. The Windows Fax Conversion Service cannot convert the incoming fax file. Fax will attempt to deliver it as is.
Recovery:
Fax will attempt to deliver the incoming fax as is, and no additional recovery is needed in many cases. See the following steps for situations that require additional action:
If one of the following conditions occurs, restart the entire network of Fax servers that use this Fax Windows Services System for fax conversion:
Incoming fax is not delivered.
Fax job remains in the "Fax job conversion is occurring" job state indefinitely.
One or more Windows Fax Conversion Service threads or Fax server threads end.
The problem continues.
If the problem continues and error code
x is 7 or 8, make sure that there is enough room for the temporary files on the hard drive of the Fax Windows Services System.
If you still cannot resolve this problem, complete the following steps:
From the Administrator Workstation for your Domino server,
stop Fax.
