Domino application developers can use the following tools and extend the power of IBM Lotus Domino on i.
-
ASCII C/C++ run time capabilities enable ASCII applications to send EBCDIC output to and receive EBCDIC input from the IBM i operating system. This allows ASCII and EBCDIC applications to "talk".
Previously offered with the ASCII C/C++ Run Time for iSeries PRPQ 5799AAS (QADRT library), and before that with LIBASCII, this capability is now available with IBM i operating system Option 13 (System Openness Includes) as described in the support document Information about Products 5799AAS and 5799AJC.
-
The DMPCLLSTK and DMPSVRSTKS commands can be used to dump the call stack of a particular job or the stacks of all of the jobs running in a Domino subsystem, respectively. These capabilities are now available in the Domino product with WRKDOMSVR options 16 (Dump Server Call Stacks) and 17 (Create NSD).
