HTTP Server (powered by Apache) plug-in for Domino 7 and Domino 8 on i5/OS (V6R1)

Domino 7 for i5/OS and Domino 8 for System i customers can take advantage of the HTTP Server (powered by Apache) to forward traffic to their Domino 7 or Domino 8 servers. Be sure that you are running a version of Domino that is supported on i5/OS V6R1 - Domino 7.0.3 or Domino 8.0.1 (or later) are supported. See Support for Lotus Domino and related products on i5/OS V6R1 for more information.

The plug-in service program QZSRVAP20A is provided with the HTTP Server product (5761DG1). When an HTTP request is received by the HTTP Server (powered by Apache), the plug-in will forward it to the Domino server (if appropriate). The QZSRVAP20A plug-in uses a configuration file called domino-plugin-cfg.xml to control which HTTP ports are used and which HTTP requests are forwarded to the Domino server. The QZSRVAP20A plug-in is compatible with Apache version 2.2.3 and above.

This plug-in is based on WebSphere 6.1 technology, but does not require WebSphere to be installed on the system (it is a completely separate plug-in and has no direct ties to WebSphere). It can be loaded and run simultaneously with any of the WebSphere plug-ins within the same HTTP Server (powered by Apache) instance.
