On May 13, 2003 a set of PTFs were made available to expand the capabilities of the DB2 SQL Query Engine (SQE). These V5R2 PTFs will give SQE an opportunity to process and improve the performance of more complex SQL requests including join queries. Informational APAR II13486 should be referenced for the latest details on these recent enhancements.
