PTFs & Support
Program fixes (PTFs) for IBM Business Solutions are shipped via PTF groups. The groups allow all prerequesite fixes for this and related products to be shipped and installed as a single package. There is a group available for each release of i5/OS.
PTF groups for IBM Business Solutions are updated approximately every three months to include the most current fixes required to run all enterprise Web applications provided by IBM Business Solutions.
The IBM Survey Creator v1.0 Web application was added to the IBM Business Solutions product after initial product packaging via "add function" program fix (PTF) SI12985. All PTF groups now contain PTF SI12985 for delivery of this new application.
Cumulative PTF Packages
Program fixes for IBM Business Solutions are automatically included in cumulative PTF packages for i5/OS V5R3 only if they meet IBM's minimum order criteria. Therefore, to ensure you are running with the latest program fixes, please refer to PTF group information for your particular release of the operating system.
Program fixes for IBM Business Solutions are not included in cumulative PTF packages for V5R1 or V5R2.
PTF Groups for WebSphere Application Server for System i
PTF groups for Version 5 editions of WebSphere Application Server for System i include a PTF group for IBM Business Solutions. If a WAS Version 5 group is ordered, the corresponding group (by release) for IBM Business Solutions will be sent with it, automatically. The following table provides a summary of which PTF group is included.
