Packaging information 

This product is packaged on one CD for physical medial pack delivery. The CD is titled:

This product is also packaged for electronic software delivery. Electronic delivery includes a save file containing a licensed copy of the product.

The CD (or save file) includes the following enterprise Web applications:

• IBM Telephone Directory v5.2
• IBM Welcome Page v1.1

Note: The IBM Survey Creator v1.0 Web application was added after initial product packaging. It is made available by applying an "add function" program fix (PTF) after the product is installed. Refer to the PTFs & Support page for information regarding program fixes (PTFs) for IBM Business Solutions.

All applications include translated text for the following national languages. Java locale support is used to identify which language is used. Resources for all national languages (listed below) are deployed with the applications, regardless of which language features (listed above) are installed on the System i system.

Ordering Information 

IBM Business Solutions cannot be ordered separately. It can only be obtained by ordering i5/OS V5R3 or one of the Version 5.1 editions of WebSphere Application Server for System i. The following table contains a list of orderable products that include IBM Business Solutions.

The product is ordered as one of the PIDs listed above, but installs as PID 5722-BZ1 *BASE on the System i system.

When i5/OS V5R3 (PID 5722-SS1) is ordered, the IBM Business Solutions product (PID 5722-BZ1) will be shipped under CD part number D29xx_04 (Standard Set) as listed in the V5R3 Standard and Keyed Set Media Contents technical document, with xx being the language feature code.

Availability:

Physical media pack delivery:

• V5R3:  IBM Business Solutions is available with i5/OS V5R3 (5722-SS1) starting June 11, 2004.
• V5R1 & V5R2:  IBM Business Solutions is available with IBM WebSphere Application Server, V5.1 for System i starting January 16, 2004.
• V5R1 & V5R2:  IBM Business Solutions is available with IBM WebSphere Application Server - Express, V5.1 for System i starting February 20, 2004.

Electronic software delivery (Passport Advantage):

• V5R1 & V5R2:  IBM Business Solutions is available with IBM WebSphere Application Server, V5.1 for System i starting December 19, 2003.
• V5R1 & V5R2:  IBM Business Solutions is available with IBM WebSphere Application Server - Express, V5.1 for System i starting February 20, 2004.
