V6R1:
The latest service pack PTF is 5761-XH2 SI33318, available February 2009.

Service pack requirements for running V6R1 System i Access for Web in these web serving environments:

• SI33318 or later provides support for IBM WebSphere Application Server – Express V7.0 for IBM i, IBM WebSphere Application Server V7.0 for IBM i, and IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment V7.0 for IBM i. Refer to the documentation for configuration examples.
• SI32416 or later provides support for IBM WebSphere Portal V6.1. Refer to Configuring IBM WebSphere Portal V6.1 (PDF, 94KB)
• SI29664 or later provides support for the integrated Web application server 7.1. Refer to Configuring an Integrated Web Application Server Instance (PDF, 144KB)

V5R4:
The service pack PTF is 5722-XH2 SI33310, available January 2009.

Service pack requirements for running V5R4 iSeries Access for Web in these web serving environments:

• SI25551 or later provides support for WebSphere Portal V6.0.
• SI25122 or later provides support for the integrated Web application server. Refer to Software Announcement 206-256, IBM System i Web Enablement Made Easy.
• SI24678 or later is required for IBM Workplace Services Express (WSE) V2.6.

V5R3:
The latest service pack PTF is 5722-XH2 SI23771, available June 2006.

Service pack requirements for running V5R3 iSeries Access for Web in these web serving environments:

• SI23771 or later is required for WebSphere Application Server (WAS) V6.1 Base, Express, and Network Deployment Editions.
• SI18964 or later is required for WSE V2.5 and WebSphere Portal for Multiplatforms V5.1.0.1.
• PTF SI17826 or later is required for WAS V6.0 Network Deployment Edition. iSeries Access for Web does not support a federated profile.
• PTF SI16754 or later is required for WAS - Express V6.0 for iSeries and WAS V6.0 for iSeries (Base Edition). Refer to the documentation.
• PTF SI11914 or later is required for WebSphere Portal Express for Multiplatforms V5.0.2 and WebSphere Portal Express Plus for Multiplatforms V5.0.

V5R2:
The latest service pack is PTF 5722-XH2 SI16652, available February 2005.
WAS V6 Support: SI16652 provides support for WAS 6.0 - Express for iSeries and WAS V6.0 for iSeries (Base Edition). Refer to the documentation.

V5R2 iSeries Access for Web does not support WAS V6.0 Network Deployment Edition.

Note that PTF SI11883 or later provides support for using V5R2 iSeries Access for Web with WebSphere Application Server (WAS) - Express V5.1 for iSeries and WAS V5.1 for iSeries ("Base Edition").

V5R1:
Use 5722-XH1 SI02155 or later.

For required software and other PTFs for iSeries Access for Web:
V5R3

• Refer to Install and set up iSeries Access for Web in the System i and i5/OS Information Center.

V5R2

• Printer and Printer Output Support: if you are using the Printer and Printer Output functions in iSeries Access for Web, be sure that you have the following V5R2 5722SS1 PTFs or later: SI06606 and SI04780.
• In the iSeries Access for Web Installation and Usage Guide (PDF, 615KB), refer to Chapter 3 for these sections: "iSeries Server Software Requirements" and "Installing PTFs".

V5R1

• Printer and Printer Output Support: if you are using the Printer and Printer Output functions in either V5R2 or V5R1 iSeries Access for Web on OS/400 V5R1, be sure that you have the following V5R1 5722SS1 PTFs or later: SI07284 and SI06404.
• In the iSeries Access for Web Installation and Usage Guide (HTML format), refer to Chapter 3 for these sections: 'iSeries Server Software Requirements' and 'Installing PTFs'.
