The IBM DS8000 and DS6000 product line helps set new standards in performance and automation. IBM's external disk attachment benefits from IBM i advanced storage architecture whereby functions such as mirroring, Expert Cache, and Independent Disk Pools can be exploited by the DS products, complementing its own storage management and advanced functions such as FlashCopy and Peer to Peer Remote Copy (PPRC). |
