Supported tape devices for IXS and IXA attached Linux servers

The IBM i integration support for the Integrated xSeries® Server (IXS) and System x™ models that are attached to the IBM i platform via an Integrated xSeries Adapter (IXA) allows native Linux® applications that are running on the System x model to access IBM i tape devices.

Note: You can use the default tape device drivers that are included in your Linux distribution or use drivers that are approved by your backup application.
