Ordering channels for IXA

Multiple channels are used when ordering the hardware and the associated software for integrated IBM® System x™ models that are attached to IBM i via an Integrated xSeries Adapter (IXA).
Power Systems channel
 
  • IBM® Power server
  • IBM i disk drives for Windows® or Linux® storage
  • Integrated xSeries Adapter for iSeries
  • RIO/HSL and SPCN cables
  • IBM i 6.1 (5761-SS1), i 5.4 (5722-SS1), or V5R3 (5722-SS1)
  • For V5R3: iSeries Integration for Windows Server (no charge LPP 5722-WSV, preloaded)
  • For i 5.4 or later: i5/OS option 29—Integrated Server Support
  • For i 5.4: IBM i5/OS Integration for Linux on xSeries (no charge LPP 5722-LSV) is needed if installing Linux servers.
