
Class description
IBM System z (Mainframe) has a history of more than 45 years of providing industry leading Solutions to Customers all over the world. This class introduces the student to System z "Value" characteristics, such as Hardware Facilities, High Availability, Workload Management, Virtualization, and Security. This includes the IBM zEnterprise System! This class stresses System z "Value" issues.
There is a TGVL System z class that may be taken after this class, if the student wants to build further System z Cost & Value skills. Please see the Top Gun website for class descriptions and schedules for this class.*

Level
IBM TGVL: System z Fundamentals is an introductory level class designed to begin to build general System z Cost & Value Sales Skills. No prerequisites are required for this class.
Duration
The IBM TGVL: System z Foundation class will be held on three consecutive days, four hours each day. This is a total of three half-days.
Audience
The audience for this class would include IBM and Business Partner Software and Hardware sales reps, cSMs, client reps, System architects, FTSSs, and anyone else selling or supporting the sales of solutions involving Server content.
Objectives
The IBM TGVL: System z Fundamentals Class is designed to begin to build the skills you need to be effective in understanding and communicating System z Cost & Value propositions to customers and integrating them into Customer Solutions.

The class location is your office - no travel. The TGVL: IBM System z Fundamentals class is three, half-day sessions of live virtual classroom on the internet.
