Class description
Today’s explosion of information is making storage a strategic investment priority for companies of all sizes. As storage becomes a priority, two major concerns have emerged: business efficiency and business continuity.
Business efficiency addresses the need for investment protection, reduced total cost of ownership, and high performance and manageability. Storage cannot be an afterthought anymore. Too much is at stake.
Business continuity requires storage that supports data availability so that employees, customers and trading partners can access data 24 x 7 through reliable, disaster tolerant systems.
IBM Top Gun Virtual Learning (TGVL): Disk Foundation will show you how IBM Disk solutions can help your clients deploy more efficient and more resilient infrastructures for securely storing information and mitigating business risks. The resulting information infrastructure enables clients to control the explosion of information through the smart movement and management of information with an infrastructure that supports capacity growth without complexity..
