RE4840H - IBM 4840 SurePOS 500 / SurePOS 600 Hardware Service Training

This course provides the student with information required to safely and efficiently perform hardware service and maintenance on the IBM 4840 SurePOS 500 and 600 series point-of-sale systems. Topics include features and functions, troubleshooting, location of internal and external components, software installation, hardware configuration, and Field Replacement Units (FRUs) removal and replacement procedures. In addition, this course incorporates a detailed video segment demonstrating a complete teardown and reassembly of the 4840.

This CD-ROM based course is designed for IBM, IBM Business Partner, and IBM customer service technicians who are responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of the 4840.

At the end of each module, there is a self-assessment designed to help the student gauge how well they have learned the information presented in that module and help them identify topics that need to be reviewed.
