RE4800V - Installing the IBM SurePOS 700 Front Service Cover Features

This video course shows you how to install the new front service cover features on the IBM SurePOS 700 Series. The front service cover features enable you to access internal components and the I/O panel simply by sliding the chassis out from the new metal housing. The front service cover features are available though four separate field installable kits that can be ordered and added to existing SurePOS 700 Systems. This video provides step-by-step instructions for installing each of the four kits.

This video course is intended for IBM customer personnel who are responsible for installing the IBM SurePOS 700 Series front service features.

Although there are no prerequisites for this course, some knowledge of the SurePOS 700 Series hardware will be helpful. The video starts with the system unit cover removed, and assumes you are familiar enough with the system to perform this removal without assistance.
