RE3010C - Store Integrator Technical Education

This course provides IBM customers with a working knowledge of IBM Store Integrator (SI) and its role in a Store Integration Framework solution. The course includes descriptions of SI components, functions, features, hardware and software requirements, and practical applications.

This course is designed for IBM customer technical personnel who will be installing and/or supporting IBM Store Integrator.

Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:

• Provide a high-level description of the SI GUI
• List SI hardware and software requirements
• Describe problem determination techniques for SI
• Access IBM support for Store Integrator

Students taking this course should be familiar with the IBM Store Integration Framework and the IBM 4690 Operating System.

Experience or education on the IBM Supermarket Application (SA), General Sales Application (GSA) or SurePOS Client Server Environment for 4690 (ACE) and an understanding of basic Java terminology are helpful.
