The IBM Blue Gene Fractional Ownership offers customers the ability to purchase as little as a 1/16 th interest in a 1024-node Blue Gene supercomputer, with on demand access to a full system.
    Capacity on Demand Features
Customers interested in the IBM® System Blue Gene® Solution now have the option to acquire the system with two new Capacity on Demand features: Capacity Upgrade on Demand (CUoD) and Trial Capacity on Demand (TCoD).

5-7 Dec 2006   The John von Neumann Institute for Computing (NIC), IBM and the Blue Gene Consortium are jointly sponsoring the first "Scaling Workshop" in Juelich, Germany on December 5th through the 7th, 2006.The purpose of the workshop is to provide applicants the chance to scale the codes across an 8 rack Blue Gene system. Appropriate hardware, software and support personnel will be provided to accomplish this task.
To sign up for the workshop, you will be asked to fill out a nomination form which will be peer reviewed for final acceptance.
