The Blade Open Specifications (BOS), established by IBM and Intel®, is intended to enable companies to develop and build compatible blades, networking and storage switches, and I/O expansion cards (daughter cards) for the IBM BladeCenter® platform. Opening these specifications continues the companies' commitment to building the kind of robust and open ecosystem of products that partners expect when deploying the BladeCenter platform.
