IBM intends to support the JS21 in the BladeCenter T chassis for NEBS (Telco) environments in 3Q2006.

Processor clock speed when IBM BladeCenter JS21 2-core is installed in BladeCenter or BladeCenter T chassis is 2.6 GHz. Processor clock speed when IBM BladeCenter JS21 4-core is installed in BladeCenter or BladeCenter T chassis is 2.3 GHz. In all BladeCenter chassis, autonomic power and thermal controls may reduce the processor frequency in certain operating conditions.
IBM intends to offer an 8GB (2 x 4GB DIMMs) PC2-4200 DDR2 ECC SDRAM 533 MHz memory option for the JS21 blade in 3Q2006.
IBM intends to provide CSM for AIX 5L V1.5 and CSM for Linux on POWER V1.5 support on the BladeCenter JS21 running AIX 5L V5.2, AIX 5L V5.3, RHEL AS 4 and SLES 9 by 3Q2006.
