1 The IBM BladeCenter JS21 is supported in the IBM BladeCenter S chassis using AIX or Linux effective 3/2008. All statements regarding IBM's future direction and intent are subject to change or withdrawal without notice, and represent goals and objectives only.

* Price does not include tax and is subject to change without notice. Price indicated applies to specific model which may not have all available features and functions and includes system hardware only. Different configurations have higher prices. Operating system is available for an additional charge.

** The IBM Financing Advantage program is for commercial clients with more than 25 employees for acquisitions up to $300,000. Actual rates are based on a client's credit rating, financing terms, offering type, equipment type and options. Other restrictions may apply. Rates and offerings are subject to change, extension or withdrawal without notice. IBM Global Financing offerings are provided through IBM Credit LLC in the United States, IBM Canada Ltd. in Canada, and other IBM subsidiaries and division worldwide to qualified commercial and government customers. Lease options for businesses with less than 25 employees are offered and administered in the United States and Canada by third party providers and are not affiliated with IBM Credit LLC or IBM Canada Ltd offerings or programs. Minimum transaction size is $5,000 for businesses with fewer than 25 employees. All terms and conditions are provided by the third party providers and are not part of IBM Canada Ltd. offerings or programs.

*** Red Hat licensing now entitles use of both version 4 and new RHEL version 5 and is now per server versus per install. This change allows clients using a virtualized environment to use a single Red Hat license for multiple partitions. It comes in two types: One for one- to two-socket systems that can have up to four LPARs and the other for unlimited socket systems with up to 25 LPARs. Configurations supported by the optional IBM Advanced POWER Virtualization exceeding the Red Hat license limit will need to order additional licenses.

Premium support refers to support coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Premium Red Hat license features are required when ordering Premium IBM support.

Red Hat, Inc. requires all Red Hat licenses to include the purchase of a Linux operating system support agreement with RHEL or assure that a Linux operating system support agreement is already in place for any system that will run RHEL. The requirement can be met with either ordering optional IBM Linux SupportLine or RHEL features which bundle Red Hat-delivered support.

**** The SLES 9 and SLES 10 license charge unit is per server up to 32 Sockets regardless of the number of logical partitions (LPARs) that may be defined on those processors.

***** IBM Support Line for Linux is licensed on a per server basis. Only one license is required for a server.
