- BladeCenter HT uses power supplies that are as much as 90 percent efficient so that much less power is wasted as heat. Not only is more power available for chassis use, but also there is less power wasted as excess heat output.
- Blower/fan modules in the chassis adjust to compensate for changing thermal characteristics. At lower speeds they draw less power and suffer less wear.
