IBM Real-time Compression Appliance STN6500 supports 16 × 1 GbE ports and can compress primary data in real time up to 80%, while maintaining or improving performance.

IBM STN6500 appliances install easily between NAS devices and network switches, and operate seamlessly without changes to servers, applications, or storage.
